一、開(kāi)設(shè)賬戶

最好是在有名的銀行中開(kāi)帳戶。

在開(kāi)帳戶時(shí)，銀行會(huì)給你一本支票簿，你可以用它在需要時(shí)取錢。

When you open the account, the bank will give you a chequebook /checkbookand you can use this to draw /withdraw money out as you need it.

If you need to write cheques in shops, you'll also need a cheque card .

大學(xué)課程咨詢與指導(dǎo)(course counselling and guide)，論文寫(xiě)作咨詢與指導(dǎo)(essay writing counselling)，課程實(shí)驗(yàn)和實(shí)踐(course experiments and practice)是學(xué)術(shù)語(yǔ)言模塊(academic language)的經(jīng)典話題，如果考生熟悉海外教育體系(college education system)，這些是學(xué)術(shù)話題中比較容易得分的話題。

1、 確定旅游類型和目的地

如果你想去度假on vacation/on holiday，又喜歡跟團(tuán)旅行package tour,可以和旅行社travel agency確定旅行tour/journey/travel類型?？梢赃x擇expedition遠(yuǎn)途旅行(時(shí)間長(zhǎng)，路途辛苦)或者excursion 短途旅行

具體的娛樂(lè)entertainment/recreation項(xiàng)目比如：

①人文景觀places of historical interest;② 購(gòu)物shopping;③有導(dǎo)游帶領(lǐng)的旅行 guided tours。

2、附加的游覽項(xiàng)目的挑選

如果在某些景點(diǎn)scenic spot/resort如果愿意付額外的費(fèi)用extra fee可以得到附加的游覽項(xiàng)目比如：

3、預(yù)定機(jī)票

然后提前預(yù)定reserve in advance/make a reservation in advance(特別提醒：一般Section1或者Section2中出現(xiàn)的，機(jī)票和餐廳位置的預(yù)定用book、reserve或者make a reservation。飛機(jī)票有：

頭等艙first class

經(jīng)濟(jì)艙economy class/tourist class/second class

兩種頭等艙的候車室lounge里有茶點(diǎn)refreshments。提供付款方式Pay by:

現(xiàn)金cash;

支票check ;

信用卡credit card;

支票薄checkbook;

銀行轉(zhuǎn)帳 bank transfer;(有時(shí)需要攜帶旅行支票traveler’s check)

4、旅游安排

⑴旅游路線itinerary和公交路線(bus route)也是要事先考慮的，在小冊(cè)子brochure上會(huì)有時(shí)間表timetable/agenda/schedule列表

⑵一般小巴士mini-bus可以容納12-15個(gè)人，大巴士coach可以容納45-50個(gè)人;確定好出發(fā)時(shí)間departure time 和回返時(shí)間return time

⑶住宿地點(diǎn)可以是：汽車旅館motel青年旅社youth hostel旅館hotel小酒店inn(大多數(shù)旅館會(huì)提供早餐和床B&B=breakfast & bed)

5、攜帶物品

如果有野營(yíng)go camping的打算，建議攜帶一些生活必需品和應(yīng)急用品，例如：

(提醒：不可以寫(xiě)成bathing costume或者swimming suit)

四、房屋租賃

首先landlord / landlady房東和tenant租客通過(guò)houseagency房產(chǎn)中介(或house agent房產(chǎn)代理人)聯(lián)系，洽談租房事宜。

1、確定住宿形式：

type of accommodation住宿形式homestay (stay with a family)住在當(dāng)?shù)厝思依飐tudent hostel (student accommodation )學(xué)生公寓----dormitory (=dorm)宿舍

2、住宿類型分為兩大類：

① flat(英式公寓)=apartment(美式公寓)

一般位于city center=downtown (市中心)

② house房屋

一般位于suburbs = outskirts (郊區(qū))

3、確定rent租金和deposit押金(for security為了安全)

Maximum /minimum rent(最高/最低)租金的價(jià)格depends on取決于:

⑴ location位置

① urban area 市區(qū)地段 ② rural area 鄉(xiāng)村地段

⑵environment/ surroundings環(huán)境

①near public transport靠近公共交通

比如靠近tube= subway=underground= metro地鐵或者bus stop 公交車站 或者airport機(jī)場(chǎng)

② near the university/ office 靠近大學(xué)或工作地點(diǎn)proximity(= close常考同義詞轉(zhuǎn)換)to your office is an issue靠近你的工作地點(diǎn)也是個(gè)應(yīng)該考慮的因素

③ 安靜的環(huán)境neighborhood街區(qū)是否noisy喧鬧真題:problems of the accommodation:difficult to study原文:They have three young children and it is difficult for me to study.

④ 各類帳單和設(shè)備租賃費(fèi)用是否包括在租金內(nèi)
